Encounter and Spirituality is the coming together of the St. Peter Parish Family and visitors to listen, learn and enhance their relationship with God. We invite you to consider one of these ministries that make up our parish family, and to discern where God is calling you to devote your personal gifts, time and talent. The opportunities to share your God-given skills, abilities and personal talents are many
Catholic Men's Fellowship: We are committed Catholic men who recognize our need for God’s help. We gather in Christ’s presence in an atmosphere of trust, equality and anonymity to share personal feelings and experiences. We unconditionally accept each other and prayerfully support one another. We are committed to growing closer to Jesus Christ, encouraging all of our brothers to study Scripture and the Catechism, to practice and share our Catholic Faith, to lead our families in holiness, to support our clergy and support each other spiritually. We meet every Saturday morning at 8:30am.
Eucharistic Adoration: There is Adoration followed by Benediction every Friday from
9:00am until Noon in the Church.
Holy Hour of Reparation: Is in the Church on the 13th of each month at 6:00pm except on Saturday and Sunday. Otherwise, the Friday before.
Open Vessels Faith Sharing: Open Vessels is about women of faith who share their lived experiences as daughters of God. As we read and discuss spiritual books by various authors, OV provides opportunity for support and growth in our individual spiritual life. For more information please contact Jean Waden or Susan Blair.
Parish Rosary: The Rosary is prayed in Church following daily Mass and the 8:00am Sunday Mass. Open to All
Third Order Carmelites: The Lay Carmelite Order of the Blessed Virgin Mary (historically known as the Third Order of Carmel) is an association mainly of lay persons. Its members, responding to a special call of God, freely and deliberately commit themselves “to live in the following of Jesus Christ” according to the charism, traditions, and spirit of Carmel under the authority of the Prior General of the Carmelite Order. The members, though not in Religious Life, choose to live out their baptismal commitment according to the spirit of the Carmelite Order. Members are brothers and sisters of the Carmelite Family and sharers in the same call to holiness and in the same mission of the Carmelite Order.
World Apostolate of Fatima: The apostolate’s mission is to help people learn, live and spread the message of Our Lady of Fatima in communion with the Church and in concert with The New Evangelization.
