We commit ourselves to develop a working relationship with God. St. Peter Church’s Religious Education program is developed around the four pillars of the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
† Creed: What We Believe
† Sacraments: How We Celebrate
† Christian Living: How We Live
† Prayer: How We Pray
We, St. Peter Religious Education Program, called to Faith and Salvation in Jesus Christ in the Roman Catholic tradition, strive to live the Gospel by,
† Worshiping God in word and sacrament
† Learning, teaching and sharing our faith
† Serving human needs
We commit ourselves to generosity and to the responsible use of our spiritual and material resources.
St. Peter Catholic Church is committed to supporting you and your children by offering your family a time for formation and fellowship! The Family Faith Formation program aims at uniting parents, as the First Teachers, and their children in discovering the Catholic Faith together. Our mission for life long faith formation calls us to grow in our Catholic faith. Learning about Catholic beliefs, traditions and values will foster the development of a living, conscious and active faith life.
Through a partnership with parents, we help prepare youth to receive the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Eucharist as well as the Sacrament of Confirmation. Our goal is to connect the head and heart and instill in our youth the desire for holiness. Contact, Alisha Giles, Director of Religious Education, for more information or to register your child.
Ongoing doctrinal and catechetical formation, as well as RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults), Bible study, Sacramental formation, retreats, and special programs of spiritual development are areas overseen by Adult Faith Formation. Women's Open Vessels, Catholic Men's Fellowship, and small discussion groups are also included in our Adult Formation program.
