Liturgy of the Word for Children Here at St. Peter, we follow the practice of a separate Liturgy of the Word with children during Sunday's 10:30am Mass. The Purpose of dismissing children (before the readings and returning after the homily) is to provide them with an environment and a time to hear God's Word at an appropriate level. Therefore, each child is more likely to become an active listener and responder to God's Word with awe, praise, and thanksgiving while giving them an opportunity to understaind the Gospel message and consider how to practice it in life. Adults and teens contact Alisha Giles for questions and training. All materials provided.
Ministers of Hospitality/Greeters This ministry is one of Hospitality to all who enter our church as it assembles for the Liturgy. The greeters are the first of Christ's faces to greet God's people as they assemble for prayer.
